BOYS: US#11 Peachtree Ridge GA sr Josh Brickell stayed unbeaten outside of Great American with a 15:11.80 win over 5k, topping Colonial FL sr Andres Arroyo 15:18.75. It was Brickell’s second major win in Florida, adding to last year’s flrunners.com win. St. Pius X GA jr Austin Sprague was a very strong 3rd in 15:21.88. Arroyo’s Colonial squad topped Sprague’s St. Pius X for the team title, 78-92, among the 35 schools.

GIRLS: Johns Creek GA sr Allie Buchalski netted a 10-second victory over Bolles FL frosh Mackenzie Wilson, 18:28.91 to 18:38.09. Ocala Vanguard FL soph Elizabeth Mulford was 3rd at 18:41.27. Peachtree Ridge GA nipped Bolles for the team title, 86-91, among the 28 squads.
